Forgive Yourself

For how you felt when they didn’t stay over.

For what you thought when they told you they met someone else.

For silencing yourself and not saying the thing you wanted to say.

For staying in something non-committal when you wanted commitment.

For judging yourself for not being married yet or having a family.

For being ashamed for being divorced.

For trying to fix or change them.

For ignoring your friends and family and following your heart but it still ended in heartbreak.

For tolerating things that crossed your boundaries.

For loving someone who wasn’t right for you.

Forgive yourself for every single time your forgot your worth.

.

Love,

Michele
