"My intention for 2020 is to simply keep going. I don’t feel the need to set a bunch of huge goals this year. I definitely have a vision and I feel that I am right where I need to be. I’m excited for what’s to come and welcome it. I feel fortified and I feel loved."

I wrote this in a post on Insta December 31, 2019.

It's incredible how true this is today.

In 2020...

I lived through a global pandemic

I stopped teaching in schools and began teaching on the computer.

I was ordered to stay inside and stay away from people.

I had turned another year older.

I took my weave out and buzzed my hair.

I lived and am living through civil and social unrest.

I manifested a new housemate.

I formed Women Can Heal LLC.

I participated in a historical presidential election.

I went home for the holidays without my partner.

I walked through a lot of fear and unknown this year and I kept going just like I said I wanted to in 2019.

I think what kept me going is that I was fortified with a lot of tools and support. Many tools and structures I put in place during 2018. I also kept my focus on love this year. Loving myself and others and receiving love in all forms.

My intention for 2021 is basically the same but I do have huge goals and a big vision particularly for the work I do at Women Can Heal. I want to keep fortifying myself with tools and focusing on love.

I’m still excited about what’s to come in the coming year.

Life and our connections with people are such a gift and I feel like I really got that this year.

Thank you 2020 for the lessons and growth.

Happy New Year!

2022, you kinda sucked

Towards the end of 2021, I started visioning out 2022... I had such wonderful plans. I had such lofty goals. The Truth? 2022 was a bust for me (at least when it came to my plans). After Christma
